Protected Learning time/TARGET – Monthly half day closing
Tameside TARGET Scheme is a monthly half-day protected learning time for all Tameside and Glossop clinicians to come together to study important innovations in primary care. This is an opportunity for practice staff to address their own learning and professional development needs. Put simply, practices in a locality or within a Community Health Partnership (CHP) close for an afternoon to allow for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) learning activities.
The surgery will be closed on the below Thursday afternoons from 12:30 and will re-open the following day, at 08:00. Should you need medical advice that cannot wait until the surgery re-opens:

- At all other times, dial 1-1-1. Calls to the NHS 111 Service are free from both landlines and mobiles.
